Early birthday bash

So today, we got together with my family and a few close friends to watch the Brewers vs the Rockies. It was great fun to have my whole family together.

 

But then the game turned south, and we needed our rally caps. Thankfully, we were still smiling. (Or maybe that was all the Mountain Dew a kid who rarely gets caffeine was drinking?)

So the game's outcome wasn't what we wanted, but it was so much fun to have everyone together. And then after, one of our friends had us over for a pizza dinner and for all the kids to play in the backyard.

What an exhausting and fantastically perfect weekend. Turning another year older might turn out just fine for me after all.
