Yesterday, I loaded up my car and drove north. I stopped in Greenville, WI to pick up my three, 3 pound packages of bees and their queens. About 5 minutes after getting them, I realized I was carrying about 45,000 bees with me. But it was the three loose ones that worried me most. Thankfully, they just flew around the back window the whole time, and there were no incidents.
Once I got to Coleman, I started by setting up the three hives in their positions. I even used my phone's level to make sure they were straight this time. Once everything was set up, and some more weed block was put down in front of the hives, it was time to install the bees.
I pulled the 4th frame out to leave room for the queens. Then I sprayed the packages with sugar water to subdue them a bit. (It was in the 70s, so there was no worry about chilling them.) Then I pried the sugar syrup can (which was totally empty already) out of the box, and slid the queen cage out. These cages came with corks in the bottoms, so pulled the cork and replaced it with a marshmallow. I hung the queen with the marshmallow facing down, and then grabbed the box of bees. I turned the box over, and shook them on top of the queen. Once I got as many out as possible, I put the box in front of the hive, put the feeder on top, filled it with sugar water, and put on the cover.
And then I moved on to the next one. Spray the sugar, pry the can out, grab the queen, take the cork out, and... watch her fly away. I just stood there in disbelief, having heard of this woe before, but not believing it could actually happen if you were paying attention. So I started to figure out what to do - do I dump the bees in and quick get a queen this week, or do I dump them in to the next hive, so there would be 6# of bees in one hive. All while praying to St. Abigail, patron saint of bees.
I reached for the third box and began to install it. And that's when I saw the blue-dotted queen, Abigail, if you will, fly back to the box of her bees. I tried to get her back into the queen cage, but she is a wily one. And since I didn't want to crush her after she'd so nicely come back to me, I flicked her into the hive, quickly dumped her box of bees on top of her, and closed it up. I used a front feeder instead of a top feeder because I wasn't about to open that hive again.
Thankfully, the third hive went like clockwork. I left the empty-ish boxes they came in by the hives, because there were a few stubborn girls unwilling to leave. They'll be totally empty by the time I'm back next week to make sure the (two) queens are released and laying.
So there you have it. Beatrice, Abigail, and Caroline. Rulers of their new kingdoms.

Rounding Third and Heading Home
- It's sugar syrup making night for my bees.
- My three, 3# packages of bees plus 3 queens.
- It's also - oh crap, find all the new equipment and round it up in one place night.
- Donald Driver is going to be at work today.
- I can't even explain who that is. If you don't know, then I'm moving on.
- I am pretty sure C-man has a sinus infection.
- He's going to the walk-in clinic after his baseball practice.
- I have a painter coming in for a quote on our interior walls and ceiling.
- We never hire this stuff done, so I'm sort of excited.
- Until I see the estimate. Then maybe I won't be anymore!
- Ahhh, bring it, weekend.

Goodbye, April
The A's had another game last night. C-man hit another giant bomb his first at bat - out to right center. And he got his wish for another team to shout, "Get back!" when he approaches the plate. They were ahead until the 5th inning. And then it all fell apart, including C-man's hitting when he struck out. Damn. But, he did step in to pitch the last strikeout of the game, which was a good way for him to end it. It was another learning experience.
In other news, my giant hopes of a pain doctor fixing me were totally dashed this morning when he told me he couldn't help me. He gave me two prescriptions for narcotics and a bunch of orders for ridiculous tests and physical therapy. I took the scripts, because why not. But when a guy tells you he can't help you, I don't need thousands of dollars of tests to reiterate that. I could just cry.

Hump Day
I broke down and got an appointment with a chronic pain specialist. I use the term 'broke down' intentionally, because it truly feels that way. Like there's no other option anymore and I'm physically at my most broken down point. But I'm going to try someone new because as smart as the rheumatologist I was seeing is, I just don't feel like I can go back to him just to have him throw toxic drugs at a dartboard and hope one sticks. Especially since I'm the dartboard. And especially since I don't think he was looking at the big picture. I'm convinced something has been missed in the equation that is me. It has to have been.
But truthfully, I don't have hope for much working anymore, and it's really weighing heavily on me. Before it gets too hopeless, I feel like I need to try something else. And so, this is it. Here goes nothing.
In the meantime, the A's have a game tonight. It's one of those years when you pray they just don't get slaughtered.

This is not a good post
Spoiler Alert: This is not a positive post.
There are times when the physical pain is just almost too much to bear. Lately, it's been too much. I can't sleep. I can't move. Food doesn't even taste good. I need to get some weight off, which would help with the pain, but movement brings tears to my eyes. I don't think it's ever been this bad. I'm just totally exhausted. Sigh. Time to see a new doctor and see if I can get a different answer.
April 27, 2015
And now, this.
It was a whirlwind of a weekend. Baseball and car rides and confirmation and house cleaning. It was nice to see my family. And now, the week begins.
April 25, 2015
Opening Day
It was opening day. As planned, C-man caught for most of the game.
Except when he pitched. He actually did pretty well, especially when you realize he hasn't pitched at all since his cast only came off Wednesday.
What was surprising was his hitting. He got a nice single, and then hit two bombs to left. He made it home on the first one due to a fielding error. He could have made the second one all the way around, too, but the coach held him back. Still pretty cool, and he was a very happy boy.
Unfortunately, despite that, the A's got hammered, with all 5 runs coming from C-man's hits. It may be a long season team-wise. But I'm going to be optimistic anyway. Let's Go A's!

Glorious Friday
It's Friday. I'd planned on working from home, which was a great decision because, well, working from home is great. But also because C-man isn't feeling well. Something is going around at school, so I gave him an ibuprofen and tucked him back into bed for the day. I'm hoping it's something he can sleep off and isn't too contagious. Because, of course, while Beerman was away last night, he crawled in bed and snored on top of me all night.
In other news, it's the weekend. Which means after baseball practice and a birthday party C-man is supposed to have his first baseball games, barring it doesn't snow like is in the forecast. (Yikes!) Sitting on those bleachers is going to be miserable. If he even gets to any of that... pending how he's feeling.
Oh, the joys of Spring. But at least it's Friday. Glorious, glorious Friday.

Thursday Thirteen
- C-man got his cast off yesterday. Boy, was he thrilled.
- We celebrated with a Snickers Blizzard. Because really, what else says celebrate your cast free day like Snickers and ice cream?
- His scrimmage was cancelled due to the cold. Happy Earth Day.
- Tonight he has the rescheduled scrimmage. Which is good, because he'll be able to play.
- He hasn't hit a ball in almost a year. This could be interesting.
- My bees aren't coming this weekend. Cold weather in the West coast is delaying their arrival.
- While a little sad, overall I'm okay with it, since it's been so cold.
- Also, because it means I get to see C-man's Saturday baseball game before driving north. That makes me happy.
- Did you see the people who got sick at the Ohio church potluck? I'm very sorry for them, but seriously, I told you so. Casseroles and potlucks are disgusting. Just say no.
- I have photos of places I've been all over my work area. They're old. I need new ones.
- We're looking at the Traverse City area for summer vacation. But that's a long time yet. I need something sooner.
- You'd never know I was already on vacation this month.
- I think this shoulder is exhausting me. I'm glad it's almost the weekend.
April 22, 2015
April 21, 2015
So there's that to talk about
- This is C-man's favorite dog at the dog park. Her name is Penny. She was a rescue, and now prefers to lay around and have her soft ears and tummy rubbed. Lucky for her, C-man is more than happy to oblige.
- The other day, C-man had about 5 dogs around him, all with their bellies in the air to be rubbed. So much for the owners' plans to get their dogs exercised.
- Beasley was not one of those dogs because he was too busy racing around the park like a maniac.
- Tomorrow's supposed to be the day the cast comes off for good. I don't know what we're going to do if it has to stay on.
- This weekend is opening weekend of Little League baseball. Having a cast on is not an option.
- It's also bee weekend. As in, I get three 3 pound packages of bees and 3 queens to put in my hives.
- I still have to set up my new hive, which also means I still need to get some weed block and mulch. Oh, so much to do!
- In the meantime, I need to get through this week. This lame, sleety, cold, nasty, work week. Ugh. Come on, weekend!

This sucks
Inflammation is high in my body right now. And I've noticed when that gets high, I have issues beyond the pain. I definitely don't sleep well. And maybe it's the lack of sleep, or maybe it's the inflammation itself, but I feel completely nuts when this happens. As in completely irrational crazy. I start to fear things that don't normally cross my mind, and I can't focus on anything. I feel completely nuts. And I know it's inflammation related, because the second the flare goes down, so does the crazy. It's making me think I need to go back to a rheumatologist. Which I am loathe to do, because all they do is shoot me up with more toxic crap. But I can't live like this - worried about nonsense I can't control. And I definitely need to sleep. Ugh. This sucks.
April 19, 2015
Weekendy
Beerman's home from his week away. My shoulder is hurting more post-PT exercises than before, once again just confirming that these medical people don't know any more than the rest of us. Today's about relaxing and dog parking and watching Luchadora at First Stage. It should be pretty solid.
April 17, 2015
Me and Myself
It was one of those days when I realized I was starving. And then I thought about it. The kid was fed. The dog was fed. The fish were fed. But nobody fed me.
And therein lies the major downfall of Beerman traveling for work. I need someone to take care of me, because clearly, I don't know how.
April 16, 2015
Thursday Thirteen
- C-man got notice that his petition was approved to play with the 6th grade football team this fall. Dear Lord. How did I get a child who not only is playing tackle football, but playing up a level?
- I was really smart and only primed the parts of my hive I'll need right away. While it's double mess when I have to do the rest, I didn't have to sprawl out everywhere. See, once in a while I'm pretty smart.
- My hive stand is supposed to arrive tomorrow, which means everything will be ready to go. Whoot! Well, after I paint the hive parts tonight, that is.
- Beasley has not been happy about not going to the dog park daily.
- If only he wouldn't run off and chase cars, I could get him to the closer, but not fenced in, dog park daily. Dummy.
- I've contacted a few dog trainers to help us, but none have responded. Annoying.
- I went to my first PT appointment for my shoulder today. They put an electric stimulation patch on my shoulder for the afternoon. So bizarre.
- C-man is down to less than a week before he should get this cast off.
- Gosh, I hope it's really off for good, or he's going to lose his mind.
- He had a big band concert today at the local Catholic High School, and couldn't go because he can't play his trumpet. Such a bummer over a finger.
- Fitbits are on a big sale at work. So low of a price, I was seriously tempted to buy one. But I really think they're so ugly, I can't bear to do it.
- I bought a new season of First Stage tickets for C-man and me. I was smart and planned around Packers Sundays, skiing Saturdays, and wrestling Sundays. Thank goodness for a few Friday evening performances!
- Only one more week and I can purchase our Alcatraz tickets for our summer visit to San Francisco.

The important stuff
Someone stopped me yesterday to tell me I was her inspiration at home. Imagine my surprise when she was mentioning the similarities - same workplace, only child, family is important... But an inspiration? With my messy house and crazy life and exhausted body? It wasn't about that, though. It was about how much fun we have. How many things we do together as a family. And how it seems we focus on the important things.
Huh.
So I got to thinking about that. And while I wouldn't go as far as to think of myself as an inspiration, because seriously - that's pretty crazy, I am pleased with the love and happiness we feel in our house. And that's a good feeling, to be able to sit and recognize what it is that we're doing something right once in a while.
So while I may complain about my clutter and the dirty socks left on the ground and my aching back... it's good to know we still love one another and can fill the house with laughter for whoever happens to stop by.
April 13, 2015
This Monday is not fun
- C-man already broke his new cast.
- I'm back at work today. It's a good thing I like my job for the most part, because this sucks.
- Almost as bad as having to deliver 8 performance reviews. Shoot me.
- I'm wondering how Beasley is taking not going to the park and having a gang of boys play with him all day.
- Speaking of Beasley, his old owners want more pictures of him so they can frame them. I'm torn between that being cool and weird.
- My hive boxes are supposed to arrive today. I hope I can get them painted and set up this week before my bees come.
- I'm really missing my nap.
April 10, 2015
Still on staycation
- Last night was the end of the year wrestling banquet. C-man got the newbie award for the best first year kid. He was thrilled.
- I even got recognized for all the photos I took all year. Which was surprisingly kind of embarrassing to have to go in front of everyone. But quite thoughtful.
- It was a great time for C-man to get his new cast loaded up with signatures. It took the sting away of having a new cast just a little bit.
- I can hardly believe this week off is almost done. What a drag.
- We're heading to the Brewers game tonight. Let's hope we see their first season win!
April 9, 2015
Rainy days
- We went to Chicago yesterday. It was a day of trains, cabs, museums, Niketown, Eataly, and home again. A good day away.
- Today, C-man went to get his hand checked. The old cast came off. Unfortunately, a new one got put on for two more weeks. He was devastated.
- At least this cast won't stink for a few days.
- Tonight's the wrestling banquet potluck. We're bringing two 9x13 pans of macaroni and cheese Beerman made.
- Have I mentioned how much I usually hate potluck food? At least I'll have good mac and cheese.
- It's rained a ton. Okay, a little over 2.5 inches. And as much as I hate weather talk, this is more flood talk. I've really come to hate spring rain.
- Beasley wasn't afraid of the storms at all, which was fabulous. He does, however, hate not going to the park.
- The entire family snuggling on the bed and watching Parks and Rec wasn't too shabby, though.
- I missed my own rotator cuff therapy appointment to take C-man to his cast appointment. At the risk of being a big fat baby, my shoulder hurts really bad. Stupid shoulder.
- How did this week go so quickly?
April 7, 2015
Staying the cation Day 2
It's cold and crappy out, which eliminates a ton of outdoorsy stuff I'd like to be doing. But it is really good for napping, something I never do anymore, which is kind of incredible. And so, after a dog park visit, Beasley and I took a little siesta. And then I used my new colored pencils to draw a bit. Because Kelley Bees still hasn't gotten me my hives to paint and set up, even though they were ordered a month ago. (Today's email response to my inquiry about where in the hell they are informed me the order is being expedited. Does that mean they forgot about me?!) Oh well.
Tomorrow's plan is a full day in Chicago. C-man wants to see the Field Museum. Beerman wants us to all hit up Eataly. With a restaurant called Nutella, I'm pretty sure we'll be quite happy there. I just want to spend a day doing something fun, and all of that seems to fit.
I really do love this not going to work thing.
April 6, 2015
Staycation 1
C-man gets to go to the orthopedic dr to check on his fingers. I get to go to the DMV for a new license. The bills are paid. The Brewers tickets are secured. The wrestling banquet potluck is signed up for. The daytrip to Chicago is planned. And we're ready to cheer on the Brewers and the Badgers today. I really enjoy this not going to work thing.
April 5, 2015
Happy Easter!
- After the Easter basket was found, we walked the beach with my mother-in-law. The sun was amazing, and Beasley was happy to be in the sand again.
- C-man served at Easter mass. I was a little nervous about him carrying the chalices with his cast. But considering his cast is totally broken and he can move his fingers that are supposed to be immobilized, it ended up not being a big deal.
- The priest got shouts and applause for his mention of both the Badgers and Brewers during Easter mass. That was a first.
- We went to Bacchus for brunch after. It was awesome.
- And now, it's time to lay down on the couch and slug it out.
- Happy Easter! (And Passover!)

Trifles and Notions
- C-man's babysitter didn't show up on time yesterday. (He had a half-day. Because of course, you'd have a half-day on Monday when you have Friday and the following week off.) He texted me an hour after she was supposed to be there. I was so angry.
- He'd already made himself lunch and watched a TV show before he felt it necessary to let me know he was home alone.
- Beasley continues to integrate into the household. He has all of C-man's stuffed toys that are balls (basketball pillow, football pillow, nerf football) commandeered as his own now.
- I can hardly believe we have next week off. It's so exciting.
- I hope my beehives come so I can paint and set them up before the bees come.
- The arthritis nonsense has been a real issue lately and doesn't seem to be improving. I can hardly move my shoulder. Bleh.
- Baseball practice for the boys tonight. Hopefully Beasley and I can get out for a walk together.
March 30, 2015
So there you have it.
We spent our weekend at the State youth wrestling tournament. C-man was a spectator, with the broken finger and not qualifying and all. But he cheered on his teammates and got to see his good friend and sparring partner win the whole darned thing for his weight class. That was really cool. He also got to see 5 of the kids he'd wrestled compete, with 3 of them winning their brackets. So at least he knows what he has to do if he wants to be serious about this. I, of course, took a trillion photos with a lens I'd rented. You know, for when I have a spare $2000 to spend on a lens, I at least know I really like it.
So the wrestling season is over. It's a good thing baseball practices have started, or we wouldn't know what to do with our spare time.
C-man declared last night that Leprechauns and the Easter Bunny are not real. "Because I've been to the end of a rainbow, and there's nothing there. So Mom, can you just admit that you hide my basket? But don't worry, I'm still going to believe in Santa." Translation: I absolutely don't, but please continue to give me all those presents!
In other news, well, I don't have a lot of other news. My joints hurt, I've got a 4 day work week before spring break, and really if we're truthful, my brain is already there. So there you have it. Monday.
March 27, 2015
TGIF
- This photo was taken a while ago, and we don't have snow. But I did have to brush snow off my windshield this morning. Gack!
- According to my order tracker, FedEx has my lens on its truck. I wish they'd give me a delivery window, because I have stuff to do and really don't want to wait around to sign for it.
- Beasley is getting his first groom (as a Rysewyk) today. I'm curious to see how he does.
- I sent in all the summer camp paperwork for C-man. And then they called to tell me I never sent in payment. Sometimes I'm a total idiot.
- I'm so glad it's Friday. Hope your weekend is fantastic!
March 26, 2015
Randomly
- I'm so glad it's Thursday. I'm really exhausted.
- But first, I need to get through work and Beasley to the park.
- And a manicure
- And a new drivers license
- And a trip to the gym so I don't miss my 8 visits and have to pay for the month
- And then, I'm sure it'll be food in front of the TV and Badgers game
- Saturday is state wrestling, so it'll be our last tournament for the season. As much as I enjoyed C-man in wrestling, I'm really ready for it to be done.
- Although it means I need to find other stuff to photograph
- Baseball!
March 25, 2015
Hump Daaaaaaaaaay!
- I've been waiting for my Amazon order to arrive. Upon further review, it was delivered to Petersburg, Virginia. FedEx fail again.
- But Amazon is johnny on the spot about replacing it and getting it to me next day. Nice.
- I rented a new lens for this weekend's state wrestling tournament. I'm so excited to use it because I really want this lens, but can't justify buying it yet. Let's just hope FedEx doesn't screw this one up, too.
- I've been researching for our next trip. Probably next year when I move up a decade. Because what doesn't take the sting away from turning 40 like Hungarian wine?
- Speaking of next trips, I'm also looking for a good place to stay in San Francisco this summer. I think I may try out AirBNB.
- I was told I looked beautiful and refreshed this morning. Thank you Tramdol and a gallon of de-puffer concealer!
- Beasley knocked the iPad over, so I can't see what he's doing today. Darn it.
March 24, 2015
I need warm sun on my face
- I scraped my icy windshield this morning. Happy Spring.
- I don't get Last Man on Earth. It's supposed to be funny, but almost everyone is dead from a virus. Except there are no dead bodies or animals anywhere. And the guy's a jerk and not funny.
- My lower back has been crushingly painful lately. I hardly slept last night. It almost makes me want to go back to the rheumatologist. Almost.
- I went through McDonalds this morning because I was weak. Remind me never to do that again. Bleh.
- I continue to watch Beasley on the web cam. He's sleeping again. Yes, I am a little jealous.
- I miss warm sun on my face. I really need warm sun on my face.
March 23, 2015
TGIM
- I feel like I'm going a million miles an hour and not getting anywhere. Picture Fred Flintstone and his car before it speeds ahead. That's me.
- I continue to watch Beasley on the web cam. He is still sleeping by the door.
- 10 wrestlers from C-man's club made it through to State. We're going to head to Madison Saturday morning to watch those who made it through Friday night and those who start on Saturday.
- C-man was lamenting how sad he was to not have wrestled this weekend. Poor thing.
- My allergies have kicked up into high gear. Not cool.
- But hey, at least it's almost baseball season!
March 22, 2015
Cupcakes and a cast
Yesterday, we spent all day at the regionals wrestling tournament. C-man, of course, was not participating because of his casted hand. But he cheered and screwed around and ate cupcakes, which was a ton of fun. Dad was a little sad, because when we looked at C-man's bracket, he actually would have had a legitimate chance of getting through to the state tournament. But what can you do? Next year.
And today, we rest. And dog park. And clean the house. And laundry. And listen to C-man talk about how awesome his new iPod is. (Thanks to everyone who contributed!)
How is it that even though I had a 3 day weekend, it sure doesn't feel like it? Whew!
March 21, 2015
He's nine, I mean ten
My baby is 10. (I think he's showing me 10 fingers, at least.) How in the world did we make it to double digits so fast? The growth and maturity in him this past year has been nothing short of amazing. From the intensity he delivers in sports to the maturity about doing his homework to the types of conversations we able to have. Even to having his first broken bone. (Which is incredibly cool, by the way!) Ten is big stuff. It really does keep getting more fun.
March 19, 2015
Countdown to 10
Today begins three days of birthday shenanigans. And a whole lot of sweets. Giant cupcakes at school, a cake tonight, and cupcakes tomorrow night after the wrestling team weighs in. And then there's a fun night out tonight with dinner, and a bacon-filled breakfast planned for tomorrow. He really is a kid after my own heart.
March 18, 2015
And in today's life
- I got a video cam app to see what Beasley does all day. Um, it's pretty much this.
- C-man got in trouble in gym class today for being disrespectful, which is really out of character for him. He's been quite a handful lately. I'm blaming growth spurt.
- Now he has to write a report about his favorite female athlete. I'm really looking forward to seeing who he picks.
- He also got a blue cast on his hand for the next 4 weeks. Beerman texted that he just negotiated a re-look in 3 weeks.
- After all, the A's need its pitchers.
- I guess that answers any questions about wrestling this weekend.
- So much for showing all 10 fingers for his birthday photo.
March 17, 2015
If you're happy and you know it...
So I've decided I'm done with crappy crap. No more dogs racing down busy streets. No more broken fingers. No more dead bees. Only happiness from here on out. So if you don't have happy shit to share, keep it to yourself. Thank you. Sincerely, the Management.
March 16, 2015
Another Monday
- Beasley took off on us Saturday. As in, he was in the van to go to the park, jumped out the back, and took off toward the most dangerous road nearby.
- We found him happily panting in someone's car on said dangerous road. She opened her door to get him off the road, and he joyously jumped right in. Dinkus.
- I'm starting serious call-back recognition training tonight.
- I went to see my bees on Sunday. They're dead.
- I may have thrown my bee brush into a nearby field.
- The spring hive buildup had already begun in both hives, and there was still food, which means they were alive until very recently with the cold snap a couple of weeks ago. Since they were in starvation position (heads in cells, butts out), and still had food, and some were dead right on the food, it means they couldn't get out of that position long enough to eat.
- Damn.
- I couldn't sleep last night, I was so worked up about both events.
- 3, 3# packages of bees are ordered and ready to pick up 4/25.
- And a third hive is on its way for me to paint and get ready. After all, I screwed up 2 hives this year, so I'd might as well try for 3 next year.
- C-man has his orthopedic appointment on Wednesday. We'll find out then if he's wrestling on Saturday. I'm not thinking the chances are very good.
- It's Monday and I'm exhausted and ornery. This isn't good.
March 14, 2015
Broken
Tuesday night, C-man hurt his hand while wrestling. I got there just before it happened, and he got up crying. I didn't interfere, because the coach was handling it. But he doesn't cry for little pains, so I knew it hurt. But in typical fashion, we went with the - you're probably okay, so let's ice it and see approach.
Fast forward two days and the finger is still a sausage and the knuckles black and blue. An x-ray confirmed he fractured his fourth finger, right above the growth plate. Which is good news, because it's a tiny fracture, and isn't impacting the growth plate. She is sending us to an orthopedist, though, because she wants to be extra careful.
The cutest part of all was that when the doctor asked if we had any questions, C-man had some. And they were all about whether he could pitch this weekend (he had a clinic), and if he could just tape it up for next weekend's wrestling tournament. I think the bad news is neither is going to happen. But we are going to let him hold out hope until a doctor tells us otherwise.
So there you have it. A childhood right of passage.

A lazy blogging day of randomness
- The sun is shining, and the ice is melting. Hallelujah!
- I got sprayed with salt from the salt truck while walking into work. Honestly, the stupidity of contractors laying salt when it's 60 degrees outside is beyond me.
- C-man really hurt his middle two fingers last night at practice. They are all swollen and painful. Poor thing. I'm hoping it isn't broken. It didn't swell up more this morning than it had last night, at least.
- A co-worker told me about the At Home app where you can set it up and check the video of where your other device is set up. She showed me her sleeping dog. I'm totally doing this.
- Speaking of the dog, Beasley continues to be awesome. Somehow we have to get him a mid-week park visit, though, because an hour-long walk last night was not enough.
- Beerman's searching for a trainer to help us with him, because he needs some walking manners. Although he is coming along on the waiting to go outside and sitting before meals, which is nice.
- I know Daylight Savings only took an hour away, but it sure feels like more. I'm looking forward to the weekend already.

Awesome stuff
It's Tuesday in what feels like at least Thursday. Damn. I hate when weeks start like that. But I've got a fluffy dog who likes his belly rubbed. Life is awesome.
