My great grandfather of 19 greats through the Gage line
John Harding wrote a history of England which is largely a story of the greatness of the Percy family. This history is one of the sources for Shakespeare's "Henry IV, Part 1", which was sub-titled "With the Battle at Shrewsburie, between the King and Lord Henry Percy, surnamed Henry Hotspur of the North". In the play, he is portrayed as being of the same age as his main rival, Prince Hal (Henry V of England), when in fact Hotspur was considerably older, Prince Henry being a teenager of 16 at the time. In the climactic battle of the play, Hal kills Hotspur in one-on-one combat.
Hotspur has two of Shakespeare's most famous lines in Henry IV, Part 1; he speaks both immediately after being stabbed by Prince Hal. The first line is "O Harry, thou hast robbed me of my youth!", and the second, cut off in mid-sentence by his death and completed by Prince Hal, is "O Percy, thou art dust, and food for - ". Prince Hal completes the line: "For worms, brave Percy".

Ganhei um concurso da Lightning Bolt a nivel nacional e depois a procura pela escrita foi aumentando.
Desde pequenina que escrevo e em todos os concursos que participei quer na escola ou fora da escola, fiquei em primeiro ou segundo lugar, o que... parecendo que não, foi-me dando mais motivação para apostar neste ramo.
Alguns textos meus foram saindo em revistas como a Onfire e a SurfPortugal.
O ultimo em que participei e ganhei exige um pouco mais de responsabilidade, é da Rip Curl e o objectivo é cobrir um evento internacional: Rip Curl Pro Peniche.
Para tal, deciudi pedir ajuda a alguns cronistas mais dotados para me darem conselhos e verem alguns trabalhos meus.
Todos gostaram bastante, disseram que estava num bom caminho e aconselharam-me a fazer um blog. Eu fiz.
Este projecto tem pernas para andar, mas pedia assim a vossa ajuda. Quem tenha blogs, pedia que se torna-se seguidor e se poder, divulge. E mesmo os que não têm blogs, podem divulgar.
