We filled up the Advent Calendar. Me with my tree bulb calendar, C-man with the assembly of a Darth Maul Santa Lego.
We made gingerbread cookies and decorated them for Santa.
I hid the pickle, and C-man found it. Undefeated still. I don't know how he does it.
Then Christmas morning came with a shout, "Get up! Get up! It's Christmas morning!"
Which brought more Legos, of course. In addition to a ton of other great stuff. So much that C-man remarked we should really give some stuff to poor people. (None of his stuff, of course, but just sayin')
And the big gift was an XBox with Kinect. Wow, is that a good time.
And then, of course, we went to Christmas mass. Or as C-man likes to think of it, social hour where he gets to see all his friends.
Last night we had a delightful time with friends over to the house. The kids had special hotdogs and then played Kinect and watched a movie while the adults ate fondue, grilled stuff on the raclette, had fun making a group shabu shabu, ate lots of cookies and cakes, drank a whole lot of wine, and had lots of great laughs.
And today we rested. Even Harry didn't get up and eat breakfast until after 9 - unheard of in his life. And we have hopes to see the Hobbit later on.
We are so very blessed.
