Today, I took a walk by the beach with my camera. I hadn't taken any pictures lately, and it felt like it was a hole in my creativity. We don't have snow, so it's that weird limbo between fall and true winter. The blues of the sky and water and wind are melting together, almost like an angry protest that the weather cannot seem to catch up with the calendar. It was kind of a perfect complement for everything lately.
