Hey.. I grew up in So California and went to college in L.A. for a couple of years. Of course, that was eons ago, back when dinosaurs roamed the earth. I was actually there for the opening of Disneyland in 1955, if you can believe that. As a teenager, I lived about 3 miles from the beach and was totally into the surfing and sun stuff. Cruising Pacific Coast Highway. But how things have changed. It was great then, but you could not pay me enough $$$$$ to go back there now. Too much craziness and the expectations and images of the California lifestyle far exceed the reality. It is a zoo and it is loaded with 'way too many nutcases. I'm sure you'll appreciate a calm, quiet place when yoy are home and far away from LaLa Land.
