I was a chaperone at C-man's field trip to Brown Deer Pond today. Fourteen energetic and insanely happy 5 and 6 year olds racing around in the sun and water was exactly what I needed. (In addition to a bit ton more sunscreen, too, apparently. Ouch!) A gorgeous day filled with 13 new photographic subjects to take on. What could be wrong with that?
