8.8.08

As I flipped to the chapter entitled “Cheating”, I began to wonder. Is it considered cheating on my husband if I’ve fallen in love with a vampire named Edward and don’t even realize that he’s talking to me while I’m reading the book? I’ve complained a lot about not having a good summer read. And all along, there was Edward, just waiting for me to discover him along with the rest of his cult following. It’s like I don’t even need sleep, as long as I get to delve into his world for a little bit longer. I'm more than mildly obsessed. ******************** I’ve been going to personal training every week for the past 6 weeks, and I think I have finally broken through the wall of pain. You know, the one that makes you cringe to even think about working out, because you know that the next 3 days are going to make even blinking painful. I went to training this week, and it’s been a particularly horrible week for me pain-wise (big time flare-up for no discernable reason), and I feel fine. Then again, it could be like when you have a migraine, and you start hitting your head against the wall because the external pain feels better than the internal pain. But whatever, I’ll take it. ******************** We’re heading to the Brewers Block Party tomorrow. When I told C-man, instead of being thrilled, he sobbed. Why, you ask? Because JJ Hardy won’t be there. Go figure. It's like he's the only Brewer that matters in life. It’ll be interesting to see if he even talks to any of them, since he’s so incredibly shy around new people. Eric Gagne will be there, so I’m going to try to get his autograph for my Dad's upcoming birthday. After all, he loves him so, and won't tell me what else he wants... ******************** Joshua won last night. I really wanted Twitch to win, but Joshua was okay too. I kind of cheated and looked at the dialidol results prior to the show. But that’s okay. It makes room for the Olympics now. The fact that it’s in China kind of spoils it a bit for me, but I'll get over it. Monday night is the Mole finale, which should wrap-up my summer viewing schedule. ******************** I scheduled our home visit for C-Man to go to preschool. Can you even believe that? His teachers have to come visit our home? Sigh... I hope she likes dog snout in her business. ******************** Tonight's our big State Fair visit. Bring on the mac n cheese on a stick!
